Kids Weekly Paddle Summer Camp
Our popular kids paddle camp is a great opportunity for your child to get out on the water, explore Rocky Point's abundant marine life, and have some safe fun! With one of the lowest ratios of camper to instructor (6:1), your son or daughter will receive enthusiastic and experienced instruction from our Paddle Canada certified Kayak and SUP instructors.
Kayak Lessons
We have a variety of Kayak Lessons, including: Introduction to Sea Kayaking (Level 1), Level 2 Capsize & Recovery, along with our very popular Recreational Package. Our experienced instructors will lead you in our protected inlet, and cover the essential components of ocean kayaking.If you have limited or no previous paddling experience this is the place to start.
Full Moon Paddle Tour
We venture out at sunset to explore the shallows of the Burrard Inlet. We then detour to visit our large harbour seal colony and make efforts to get up close to our residential eagle and osprey nests. We will then leisurely paddle back by the light of the moon whilst enjoying the lights of the inlet and in search of phosphorescence in the water.
Kayak Rentals
Rocky Point Kayak offers ocean kayak, canoe and stand up paddle board rentals to explore the Burrard Inlet and the Indian Arm. We re-fresh our kayaks and boards every two seasons so you get the latest paddlesport innovations.
Paddle Canada Courses
Share you love of paddling and get certified to teach a Paddle Canada Basic Sea Kayak Skills Course. This is a pre-requisite for anybody looking to join our company. Paddle Canada Level One Sea Kayak skills, basic kayaking experience and a love of paddling are all you need to get started.
Kayak Storage
At Rocky Point Kayak we can store your Kayak any time of the year! Access to the storage compound is unlimited and is 100 yards from the water! Our storage area is alarmed and monitored with CCV cameras. If you would like more information, please contact us by phone or email. We can provide short-term and long-term storage solutions!
