The Ultimate Summer Gig for 2024

Rocky Point Kayak is not your regular summer job. It is an opportunity to become a Paddle Canada Certified Instructor, share your love of the outdoors with like-minded people and become apart of the Rocky Point Staff Family.

Reservations Staff (FULLY STAFFED FOR 2024)

Our Reservation staff are responsible for all rental bookings. They thrive in an organized environment and are able to efficiently communicate to the rest of the team to ensure our visitors are provided with quality service. 

Beach Crew (Fully Staffed for 2024) 

Beach Crew are our muscles behind the operation. They greet our guests at the beach and assist in the launching of all vessels. Our beach crew pride themselves with being  knowledgeable about the gear being rented and the area our paddlers are heading out into. 

Kids Camp Instructor (Fully Staffed for 2024)

Paddle camp and SUP camp run from June-August. Our instructors work as a close team to teach campers paddling skills, water safety and team building. All instructors are put through our Paddle Canada Basic Sea Kayak Instructor course and are required to have level 1 standard first aid with CPR. 

SUP or Kayak Instructor

Our SUP or Kayak instructors create connections with their students, while teaching proper and safe paddling technique. They are able to efficiently communicate to students and ensure a comfortable learning environment. All instructors teach private, semi-private and group lessons on an as-needed basis. As instructor you will require a Paddle Canada Instructor certification for SUP or Kayak plus first aid qualifications.
