We offer a variety of lessons to encourage the community to get out onto the water and have fun.

Below is our online booking for Kayak and SUP lessons. If you are interested in booking a private or semi-private kayak or SUP lesson, please scroll to the bottom of the page to fill out a request form. 

Please note that our group lessons are geared towards adults, therefore we require the minimum age of participation to be 14 years old. 

Course Descriptions

 Level 1 - Introduction to Sea Kayaking

Our Level 1 Introduction to Sea Kayaking course focuses on getting paddlers comfortable with basic paddling skills. This course is taught by an experienced Paddle Canada Certified Instructor who will guide each paddler through beginner kayaking techniques and concepts. 
This course runs for a duration of 3 hours and is $80.00 per participant. 

 Level 2 - Kayak Capsize Recovery 

Our Level 2 Capsize Recovery course focuses on wet exits and a variety of re-entry skills. Paddlers will be given the confidence to solo rescue their capsized kayak, as well as assist other paddlers with capsized kayaks. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a certificate that will allow you to rent kayaks on your own. This course runs for a duration of 3.5 hours, and is $85.00 per participant. 

Stand Up Paddleboard - Introduction

Discover the fun and excitement of learning how to Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP). Our sheltered waters provide an excellent base to learn the fundamentals. Sup is an excellent way to explore the local waterways – go fast and get your work out done or sit and drift with the tides.
This course runs for a duration of 2 hours, and is $60.00 per participant. 


Private & Semi-Private Kayak Lessons

Please fill out our online booking form below to be connected with one of our instructors. We will contact you to organize a date and time for the lesson, and to discuss lesson details. Please note that private lesson bookings are booked 1-2 weeks in advance depending on availability.

One on One Private Lesson: $160.00 for 1 person
Semi-Private Lesson rates start from $80.00 per person
